Your Privacy Matters.

Here’s what happens to your information when you visit Kavaliero Systems or get in touch.

Information You Share

The contact form collects your name, your company if you give it, your email, the solution you are interested in, your message and the language of the page. We use them to answer you and, if you ask, to prepare a proposal.

The blog’s sign-up form collects your email and, if you give them, your first name, last name and company, along with the article and the language of the page you sign up from. We use them only to tell you when we publish an article. Someone on the team adds your address to the list after reading your request.

We don’t ask for anything we don’t need for that. Leave passwords, keys and other people’s details out of your message: we don’t need them to answer you.

What the Site Records by Itself

To serve the pages and protect them, the hosting service records technical details of each visit, such as the IP address, the date and the page requested.

When you send a form, the server keeps your IP address in memory, for a short time, to limit repeated sends. It doesn’t write it to any file or link it to your message.

We count visits with Vercel Web Analytics. It uses no cookies and doesn’t identify you: it records the page visited, the page you came from, the approximate country, region and city, and the type of device, system and browser. It recognises a visit by a code worked out from the request and discarded every 24 hours, so it can’t follow you from one day to the next or from one site to another. If your browser sends the Do Not Track or the Global Privacy Control signal, we don’t count your visit.

What Is Kept in Your Browser

The site uses no cookies to recognise you or to measure visits. The hosting service’s protection may set a technical cookie if it needs to check that a visit comes from a real browser.

If you win the game on the contact page, your browser keeps a note so the 10% discount is still there when you come back. It is a single entry in local storage, with nothing that identifies you, and it stays on your device until you send an enquiry with the offer. Clearing the site’s data in your browser removes it.

The invoicing checklist is filled in on your browser. Its answers are not sent to any server.

Who Else Handles Your Information

Resend delivers the messages from both forms to our inbox. Vercel hosts the site, keeps its technical logs and counts the visits. Our email provider stores the messages we receive.

All three work on our behalf, under contracts that require them to protect the information and to use it only to provide the service.

We don’t sell your information or pass it on for advertising. We would only hand it to an authority if the law required us to.

Where It Is Handled

Resend and Vercel handle information in the United States and in other countries where they have servers, and our team may read your messages from Venezuela or from other countries. When you write to us, your information may leave the country you are in.

Why We May Use It

We use what you send through the contact form because you ask us for an answer, and what you send through the sign-up form with your permission. We use technical details and visit counts because we need to keep the site secure and to know whether it is used.

We don’t make automated decisions about you or build profiles.

How Long We Keep It

We keep enquiries for as long as it takes to answer them and to handle the business relationship that comes out of them. If nothing comes of an enquiry, we delete it once it is no longer useful, or when you ask.

We keep your address on the blog list until you ask us to remove it.

The IP addresses used to limit sends are held only in the server’s memory: they are dropped within minutes or, at the latest, when the server restarts. Technical logs and visit counts follow Vercel’s own retention periods.

Your Rights

You can ask us for a copy of your information, to correct or delete it, to stop using it, or to hand it over so you can take it to another service. If you gave us your email for the blog, you can withdraw that permission at any time.

Write to contact@kavaliero.com and we will answer as soon as we can, and within a month at the latest.

If you think we have mishandled your information, you can also complain to the data protection authority of the country where you live.

How We Protect It

The site only works over an encrypted connection and the forms limit automated sends. We treat your messages as private. No system is infallible, so we can’t promise absolute security, which is why we ask you not to send passwords or anything we don’t need.

Minors

The site is meant for adults. We don’t knowingly collect information from minors. If you think a minor has written to us, tell us and we will delete it.

Changes to This Page

If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page before the change applies. For any privacy question, write to contact@kavaliero.com.
